Week’s Juice

Ingredients:
2 Large Carrots
1 pinch Of Fresh Ginger
1 Granny Smith Green Apple
1 Small Fresh Mint Sprig

Thinking about Raw Foods

My Asthma Cure has been very much interwoven with changed ideas on eating:

  • Eating for health, not to avoid illness
  • Seeking fruits and vegetables in a rawer state.

Not sure how an association of clearer, easier breathing and minimally cooked, raw even, foods came about. Perhaps it was looking through a site or two on juicing, after I had found myself liking freshly made carrot juice. I later went to a supermarket,  purchased some carrot juice sold in the aisle containing juices: and the taste was like eating a frozen dinner after having a home cooked meal the night before. Different. Returning more than a time or two to one particular web site on juicing and its benefits,  lead me to explore the mixing of an occasional green vegetable in with my staple of carrots and an apple.  For some ideas and recipes check out this site.
